Bank of America
This is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors! Bank of America is looking for tomorrow's communicty leaders today! Attached is a flyer describing The Bank of America Charitable Foundation Student Leaders Program. We need your help to spread the word about this unique program to eligible high school Juniors and Seniors who exhibit passion for making a difference in our community.
Student Leaders participate in a paid summer internship with a designated local non-profit organization where they experience first-hand how they can help shape their communities-now and in the future. To enhance their leadership experience, awardees will also participate in an all-expense paid Student Leadership Summit in Washington, DC, in partnership with Bank of America and the Close Up Foundation. The ultimate goal of our Student Leaders program is to nurture and develop our country's next generation of community leaders-for our neighborhoods, our cities, and beyond. Last year's press release is also attached with detailed information on the program.

Rotary Scholarships
The Rotary Scholarship Program was launched in 1921 with a lunch for 90 high school seniors who heard career-oriented presentations by club members. In the early ‘20s, the club began providing financial assistance to students as loans. In the early ‘70’s the program resurfaced, with grants replacing loans.
In recent years, the club has offered academic scholarships of varying amounts, made possible by an endowment fund and members’ annual donations. More than 300 students have been assisted.
