2009-2010 Recruitment Events
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience is for all girls in kindergarten to twelfth grades. In Girl Scouts a girl can discover a strong sense of self, connect with others, and take action to make the world a better place. Girl Scouts provides a safe, educational, fun, and non-competitive atmosphere.
The Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council is currently recruiting girls in grades kindergarten to twelfth. Annual membership fee is just $12 per person and financial assistance is available. There are many volunteer opportunities that fit the schedules of even the busiest adults.
A leading advocate for and expert on girls, the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council builds girls of courage, confidence and character by providing personal leadership development and programs that teach skills for the real world. The Council serves approximately 18,500 girls in grades K-12 across the Delmarva Peninsula. Approximately 6,000 adult volunteers support the Council in various mentoring and leadership positions.
The Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council invites all girls in kindergarten to twelfth grades and adults interested in learning more about Girl Scouts to attend one of the following informational events:
