Welcome to Girl Scout Camp!
At Girl Scout camp, girls gain courage and confidence by experiencing new things, stepping beyond their boundaries, making new friends and gaining independence. Enjoyed by girls for nearly one hundred years, camping fosters a sense of belonging and connectedness with the natural world. Girls do not have to be registered Girl Scouts to attend our camps - all girls are welcome!
We have four Outdoor Centers available:
A wide variety of programs and activities are offered at our camps, including: water and land sports, archery, rock wall climbing, horseback riding, science and technology programs and activities, hiking, orienteering, survival basics, outdoor cooking, arts and crafts, music, drama and more. Our resident camp Grove Point also offers overnight trips to nearby sister Girl Scout camps, state and national parks.
Leadership opportunities are available to girls who wish to volunteer as camp aides and counselors-in-training. Parents/guardians/troop advisors may also volunteer at our camps in return for a reduced or waived fee for their camper. Contact the director of your preferred camp for details.
If you're interested in reserving a campsite or center for a program or event, please contact Taunja Limberry, Volunteer Services, at (302) 456-7150 ext. 7182 or (800) 341-4007 ext. 7182.
