Teen Leadership Weekend 2010
October 15-17, 2010 at Camp Grove Point
WHO: Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors and Adults
WHEN: Friday, October 15, 2010, 7 pm – Sunday, October 17, 2010, Noon
WHERE: Camp Grove Point, Earleville, MD
COST: $40 for weekend, $25 for Saturday (no dinner, just lunch), $10 Sunday only, $20 for adult weekend, $8 for adult day
NOTE: If three or more girls register from any one Troop/Group, an adult must accompany them. If there are participants with special needs, an adult must attend the weekend also. All girls coming alone will be assigned to a Unit and Unit Leader. Each girl and adult attending must complete a registration form. Registrations will not be processed unless completed on an individual basis. A health form and supply list will be sent home upon registration. Anyone is welcome to join the Teen Leadership Committee at Camp Grove Point Friday night. There will be no programming done on this evening, though. Please contact the Leadership Program Specialist if you are interested in volunteering to faciliate a workshop. Discount will be applied. Min. 100/Max. 200 |

This is not your mother’s Teen Leadership Weekend – No! That was then but this is NOW. This is YOURS - Take a Journey Through Leadership with us as we introduce you to the new and exciting world of the Journeys Program. We heard you and we are here for you.
Do you want to learn Leadership Skills? Do you want to jump start you or your Troop/Group on the Journeys Program? Do you want to take a giant step towards earning one of our top awards of Silver or Gold? Do you want to learn camping basics so that you can educate others? AND, do you want to have fun as you begin your path to the highest honors and experiences in Girl Scouting?
Then this is THE event for you and your fellow sisters in Girl Scouts. We encourage you to bring your Troop/Group and Leaders along and take that first step on the path of your Journey together, or we welcome your leadership as an individual and your confidence in taking a Journey on your own or preparing to lead your Troop/Group through one.
Come celebrate your desire to learn new skills as we have highly interactive sessions, earn a certificate towards community service hours, bond with your fellow Scouts through an evening designed just for fun, and end with an experience that will set you on a path of individuality and leadership! If you are Cadette, Senior or Ambassador, you do NOT want to miss this.
Overnight accommodations will be both indoors and outdoors and on a first-come, first served basis.
If you are just coming in for the following course(s) and not joining us for lunch, there is no fee:
