A Letter from
Afghanistan
Thank you very much for the cookies that were sent because of your
efforts. Everybody here in Afghanistan always enjoys a taste of
home, especially if it's all American as Girl Scout Cookies are. We
are grateful for all of your hard work and dedication, please keep
up the good work.
The Girl Scouts/Brownies are very good clubs which teach and
represent the good things in America and the values we all hold
true. You girls should be proud of what you are and the troop you
belong to. We as well as your parents are also proud of you all for
doing all this hard work so that we could have a taste of home in
this dry desert place.
Hopefully we will all be home soon and next year we can buy cookies
of our own and eat them in our own houses.
Now you girls go and have some fun, for all that hard work you've
done deserves some time off and rewards that I'm sure you'll be
receiving if you have not already,
Yours Truly
Frank Reuter
