Girl Scouts Has
Something For Everyone!

Girl Scouts discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together, and you can be a part of it! Whether you're a girl, a college student working on a community service project, a parent ready for an outdoor adventure with your daughter's troop, or someone who wants to make a difference in girls lives, there's something for you in Girl Scouts. There are lots of ways to join in the fun… contact us and we'll show you how!

Would you like to volunteer?

Girls & Parents...
Are you a girl who's interested in learning a sport, sampling the arts, preparing for a career or pitching a tent? In Girl Scouting, you can do it all! Perhaps you're a parent with a daughter who'd benefit from the Girl Scout program.

Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5-17. Girls participate through more than 1,200 troops and groups throughout the Delmarva Peninsula. The opportunity of Girl Scout membership exists in every corner of the peninsula: religious centers, community centers, schools, migrant communities, housing authorities, and Head Start centers.

Daisy Girl Scouts are 5-6 years old, Brownie Girl Scouts are 6-8 years old, Junior Girl Scouts are 8-11 years old, Teen Girl Scouts are 11-17 years old.

College Students
As a college student, you can satisfy your college's community service requirement, get an internship, and maybe even earn course credit - all while having a blast! So why not Volunteer!

Adults
As an adult, there are tons of ways to Volunteer. You can spend an hour, a day, or more making a difference in girls' lives. Perhaps you speak several languages and can help girls and families from different cultures. Or maybe you're a Web designer and can lend a local troop your technical expertise. Alumni are also welcome to reconnect with Girl Scouts and give back to an organization that made a difference in their lives. Girl Scouts is looking for volunteers who represent the diversity of the world we live in - men as well as women, senior citizens as well as younger adults, people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds - anyone who's willing to make a difference in the lives of girls.
