WILMINGTON WANTS YOU TO HELP SET A WORLD RECORD...
Take part in The Wilmington Grand Prix Bike Parade on September 8th at 11 am
and help win up to $5000 for your local non-profit organization!
THE WILMINGTON GRAND PRIX will take place on September 7th and 8th.
The September 8th Bike Parade (brought to you by Chase) will be a fundraiser
for a local organization(s). Parade teams may consist of representatives from
schools, social clubs, sports teams, Little Leagues, neighborhood
associations, etc.
If we break the record for the world’s biggest bike parade, the
team/organization bringing the most bikes will receive a $5,000 donation. If
we don’t break the record, the Wilmington Grand Prix still guarantees $2,500
to the team/organization having the most bikes complete the race.
So what are you waiting for? This is a once-in-lifetime opportunity that
promises fun, excitement and an excellent team-building exercise!
All parade team riders must arrive at the JP Morgan Chase parking lot at 2nd
& King by 11am for Check-In. (Requirements: $5 registration per biker
[includes Official Parade T-shirt], have a bike and helmet, and be able to
ride unassisted for 2.1 miles). If you don’t register with a parade team, you
can still show up and ensure we achieve the world record.
