Over
200 adult and girl members of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay
Council came together to elect new board members and celebrate the
accomplishments of 39 volunteers. Girl Scout volunteers were
recognized for years of service and the service in form of the
Appreciation Pin, Honor Pin, Seagull Award, Thanks Badge, and the
Juliette Low Humanitarian Award.
The awards are as
follows:
Fourteen
volunteers received the Appreciation Pin for service performed is
above and beyond the expectation for the position held. They are:

Melanie Drake, Chester, MD
Patricia Egerton, Stevensville, MD
Patrice Gillie, Middletown, DE
Cindy Hill, Laurel, DE
Valynda Kingsley, Queenstown, MD
Cathy Lynch, Stevensville, MD
Clare Mardall, Stevensville, MD
Alison McHenry, Gelena, MD
Mary Rivera, Dover, DE
Linda O’Neal, Wilmington, DE
Bonnie Reamy, Grasonville, MD
Ann Teipelke, Kennett Square, PA
Three volunteers received the Honor Pin for volunteers who have
delivered outstanding service to two or more geographic areas that
furthers the goal to serve every girl, everywhere. They are:

Gerald Miante, Stevensville, MD
Mary Musetti, Wilmington, DE
One volunteer
received the Seagull Award for significant service to girls and
adults that are above and beyond the position they hold. She is:

Three volunteers received the Thanks Badge for volunteers whose
performance is truly outstanding and benefits the Girl Scout
Movement. They are:

Pat Lewis, Whaleyville, MD
Lyn Gill,
Wilmington, DE, received the Juliette Low humanitarian Award, named
for the founder of Girl Scouting, for having a profound impact on
the lives of girls in Girl Scouting.
Girl Scouting
builds girls of confidence, courage, and character, who make the
world a better place. We do that by providing girls with personal
leadership development and programs that build real life skills for
the real world.
