Meetings places and times are flexible to need the schedules of today’s girls and adults.

Join Girl Scouts and be a part of the fun. For more information about Girl Scouting on the Delmarva Peninsula visit us at www.girlscoutschesapeakebay.org or call toll free (800) 341-4007. Girls ages 5-17 can join Girl Scouting and adults ages 18 and over can volunteer. Short and long-term volunteer opportunities are available.

Discover Fun. Girls can try out many activities such as Rock Climbing, Karate, Golf, Culinary Workshops, Theater, Art, and Trips. Girl Scouts enables girls to experience new or different sports or fitness skills, explore science and mathematics, and acquire an appreciation of the arts. Most importantly, Girl Scouts enables girls to make new friends and have lots of fun.

Discover Possibilities. Through community service projects, Girl Scouts learn about helping others and their community. The lessons and values that girls learn through Girl Scouts are carried with them through their adult lives. Girl Scouts offer programs where Girls explore careers, have adult mentors, and learn leadership skills. Girl Scouts also learn a range of real life skills – first aid, resume writing, and managing money – as well as the added personal benefits of enhanced self-esteem, greater confidence in their abilities, and the strength and conviction to take the lead and excel in the future.

Discover Girl Scouts. Sixty-four percent of women listed in Who’s Who in American Women, and two-thirds of women in Congress today, were Girl Scouts. And, a survey Girl Scouts of the USA commissioned in 2002 revealed that more than 70 percent of successful women attribute at least part of their success to the Girl Scout experience.

Girl Scouting builds girls of confidence, courage, and character, who make the world a better place. We do that by providing girls with personal leadership development and programs that build real life skills for the real world. Join or volunteer today at: www.girlscoutschesapeakebay.org. Sign your daughter up for Girl Scouting or volunteer and have a real impact on girl’s lives.
