Renown Dance Leadership Program Comes to Newark

Newark, DE,  June 19, 2006:  Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council is pleased to announce a summer partnership with the Harlem Hospital Dance Leadership Program.

What:   A dance program for girls grades K-5. Activities focus on empowering girls while they have fun learning various styles of dance from around the globe – from Africa to the Caribbean, Ballet to Jazz, Hip-Hop to Modern. (No tap dancing, sorry.)

When:  Tuesday, June 27 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm

Where: Girl Scouts, 501 South College Avenue, Newark, DE

Who:
    Over 20 girls from the Newark-area will learn from instructors from the renown Harlem Hospital Dance Leadership Program.

Girl Scouting builds girls of confidence, courage, and character, who make the world a better place. We do that by providing girls with personal leadership development and programs that build real life skills for the real world.
