Dear Girl Scout Families, Volunteers, and Friends:
 As
a member of our Girl Scout family you know how important Scouting is
to girls, their families, and the community. Girls need a place
where they can just be girls – having fun, making friends, and
feeling safe. Girl Scouting provides girls with the tools to face
daily challenges and make sound decisions that affect them today and
in the future. You can help change a girl’s life by making a
contribution to the Family Partnership Campaign.
Girl Scouting experiences help girls become strong and confident
women who will make all of our communities a better place to live.
Girls learn to work as a team, make new friends, and meet girls from
all walks of life and backgrounds. They learn to understand and
appreciate diversity and how to get along with others. Girls learn
new skills, such as leadership, problem solving, and how to be
independent. All of these experiences help to build self-confidence
and shape character.
Your contribution made through Family Partnership remains on the
Delmarva Peninsula. This year’s Family Partnership contributions
will be designated to camp and operational projects. Your
contribution will keep outdoor program centers, activities, trips,
and adult training fees low, provide scholarships to deserving
girls, develop quality programs and events for girls, and keep camps
safe and well equipped.
Your support really does make a difference in the lives of girls.

Why does the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council ask families
to contribute to Family Partnership?
- One of the first things United Ways and Funds, foundations, and
corporations ask is whether our council has financial support from
Girl Scout families and volunteers.
- Your Family Partnership tax-deductible contribution is an
important link to additional funding sources.
- 100% of every Family Partnership dollar will go directly to
support Girl Scouting on the Delmarva Peninsula.
- The $10
registration fee paid to join Girl Scouts goes directly to GSUSA to
cover activity insurance for all girls and adult members,
development of Girl Scout handbooks, Safety Wise, and training
models.
