Title IX Event in Washington D.C.

Title IX

The White House hosted an event at 11:30 am on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 on Title IX and physical activity. Six girls from Chesapeake Bay Girl Scouts attended and are shown here with Vice President Joe Biden. (L-R) Katie Babinger (Troop 355), Milan Preston (Troop 955), Mona Richona McKnight (Troop 955), Kristen Parker (Troop 955), Elise Herkimer (Troop 82), and Melissa Kennard (Troop 82). The girls participated in athletic events and were present for an announcement by Vice President Joe Biden and Rosalyn Ali, Assistant Secretary of the Office for Civil Rights.
